Talk to a process engineer, not a sales rep

Questions about integration with your inspection toolset? Want to discuss a proof-of-concept for your specific fab environment? We respond within one business day — usually faster.

What to expect

We respond to all demo requests within one business day. For integration questions, you'll speak directly with an engineer — not a solutions architect reading from a data sheet.

A typical first call runs 45 minutes: 15 minutes understanding your current inspection setup, 15 minutes showing the platform on a representative dataset, 15 minutes answering specific questions about how we'd connect to your toolset.

Demo & Proof-of-Concept

Want to see SynthKernel on your inspection data before committing? We run free proof-of-concept deployments using your existing KLARF or inspection CSV exports. No new tool installation required for the initial assessment.

Technical Integration

Questions about SECS/GEM connectivity, MES integration, or GPU hardware requirements for your specific fab configuration? Email contact@synthkernel.com with your tool list and we'll respond with a specific integration assessment.

Enterprise & Multi-Site

Multi-fab or ITAR-controlled environment requirements? Reach us at the same contact address and specify your environment constraints. Enterprise contracts include dedicated integration support and on-site deployment assistance.

Common questions we get on first contact

Do we need to share our wafer images with you for a demo?
No. The initial assessment uses KLARF files or exported defect summary CSVs from your existing inspection tools. These contain defect coordinates and category codes — no image data. If you want image-level classification in the proof-of-concept, we can run it in a sandboxed environment inside your facility network.
How long does a proof-of-concept take to set up?
Initial integration with a single KLA or ASML inspection tool via KLARF export takes one to two days. Full SECS/GEM live integration takes one to two weeks depending on tool controller access. We have run complete proof-of-concept deployments — from first access to first yield alert — in under two weeks at all three pilot sites.
Can SynthKernel work with older inspection equipment?
Yes, with some caveats. We support KLARF format going back to version 1.6, which covers most KLA tools from the late 2000s onward. For tools without KLARF export, we can work from CSV defect summary files if they include die coordinates and defect codes. Contact us with your tool model and software version and we'll confirm compatibility before any commitment.
Do you sell to IDMs or foundries only, or also OSAT?
We currently serve logic IDMs, foundries, and analog/mixed-signal fabs. OSAT applications are on the roadmap but not yet validated in production. Our current customer profile runs wafer-level inspection in-house — OSAT environments where inspection happens at die level post-singulation are a different integration problem we haven't solved yet.
